Government Contracts Law

(2 cr.) This course will examine the legal issues pertaining to the United States Government's contracting activities. Students will receive an overview of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and underlying statutes such as the Competition in Contracting Act (CICA) and Contract Disputes Act of 1978 (CDA). The course will give students the opportunity to explore the unique aspects of Government contract formation, administration, and litigation in both the private and public sectors.
