Financial Planning: Principles and Taxat

(2 cr.) This course considers major topics in the field of financial planning, including the role of various types of financial advisors, asset management and investments, retirement planning, insurance and income tax planning. Through various written projects, students will explore selected aspects of the financial planning process. Consideration will be given to the tax consequences of various planning techniques. (Prerequisite: Federal Income Taxation)
