I joined Quinnipiac University as the Director of Simulation for the School of Nursing in September, 2016. I have almost 15 years of experience in the field of healthcare simulation. My areas of expertise are applying simulation to healthcare challenges and change management initiatives, instructional design, curriculum development, interprofessional teamwork training, debriefing, workflow analysis and faculty development. Prior to joining Quinnipiac University, I was a Senior Simulation Learning Consultant for SYN:APSE Center for Learning, Transformation and Innovation, Yale New Haven Health System and was the Manager of the Boston Children�s Hospital Simulator Program where I had the opportunity to help grow the center from inception. I have served as the Executive Director for the International Pediatric Simulation Society and have collaboratively published and presented on in-situ simulation and on innovation applications of simulation to healthcare challenges. I received my BA in psychology from Fairfield University and MEd in Creative Arts in Learning from Lesley University.
