Mark Schroeder teaches courses that focus on developing students’ reasoning, writing, and researching skills, including Legal Skills I, Legal Skills II, and Advanced Writing and Research. He enjoys the process of guiding students to become better legal writers. He is a contributor to the Legal Writing Institute and has presented and moderated at various conferences, including the New England Writing Consortium. His recent research interests involve educational law and, more specifically, matters of free speech in public schools. He practiced law for a number of years in Connecticut and taught at the University of Connecticut before coming to Quinnipiac University School of Law. He enjoys reading, especially science fiction novels, and, despite a lack of speed and skill, still loves playing soccer.
