Brad Saxton, Professor of Law and Dean Emeritus, came to Quinnipiac in 2002 from the University of Wyoming School of Law, where he was a professor of law and the associate dean. Before that, he clerked for the United States District Court in Washington, D.C., and then worked from 1986-1992 at Hogan & Hartson, a major law firm headquartered in Washington. Professor Saxton served as dean of our law school from July 2002 through June 2013. Since July 2013, he has been a full-time faculty member, teaching Torts, Evidence, Employment Discrimination Law, and co-teaching our Judicial Clerkship Seminar. Professor Saxton’s research/writing interests include the future of the legal profession and of legal education, and he also engages in research and writing aimed at improving the functioning of the jury system in American courts.
