Robert Kalm is an Emmy-winning writer/producer and graduate of the NYU film school. The owner of Headless Media LLC, Bob is sponsored by the national artist collective Fractured Atlas and has received public grants and private funding for his work. Bob specializes in writing and screenwriting, media production, web presence, content development, historical research, interactive theory, and online pedagogy. He designed course 506 Writing for Interactive Media, also teaches 601 Masters Portfolio/Capstone, and mentors student independent work. Bob’s latest production is a documentary based on his MFA thesis on the swindler Philip Musica. Bob was producer-at-large for five years for NYC Media under the Giuliani administration. He sat as news desk editor for one year, piloted the station’s first website, and made award-winning documentaries, promos and PSAs. He also worked for New Line Cinemas and wrote about surviving cancer for Newsweek. Bob received his Emmy for producing Ground Zero: A Ceremony Without Words.
