I joined the faculty at Quinnipiac University in September of 2011 and enjoyed the unique experience of helping to "start a medical school" with wonderful colleagues. I completed my MD degree at the University of Chicago and subsequently completed training in internal medicine at the University of California in San Francisco. Since that time I have worked as a faculty member in medical education, training medical students and residents in the inpatient care of adult patients. My current role is the director of Phase 1 of the Clinical Arts and Sciences course. I live with my wife and two children in New Haven, CT.

I direct and teach in the Clinical Arts and Sciences Course. I also teach in the two other medical school courses: Foundations of Medicine and Scholarly Reflection and Concentration/Capstone
