MSN in Family Nurse Practitioner
The MSN in Family Nurse Practitioner program prepares nurses who have at least one year of nursing experience to diagnose and manage common illnesses in primary care for patients of all ages and to assume the responsibility inherent in prescribing medications.

Hands-on clinical experience through three, one-week immersions completed on campus in our state-of-the-art facilities.
The option of seamlessly transitioning into the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program without losing any credits or duplicating any coursework within two years of completing the MSN.
*Due to state regulations, the clinical hours for Quinnipiac's nurse practitioner programs may not be completed within the state of New York. The School of Nursing is available to assist with securing placements within the state of Connecticut.
