Nick Wormley

President Judy Olian announced the appointment of Nick Wormley '00, MBA '02, as vice president for development and alumni affairs.

Hello faculty and staff,

I am delighted to announce that I am appointing Nick Wormley ’00, MBA ’02, as vice president for development and alumni affairs. He has served as the Interim VP for the past five months and has demonstrated compelling leadership, fundraising successes, and strong connections to our alumni, parent and donor communities.

Nick has deep roots here at Quinnipiac as both an undergraduate and graduate alumnus, and as a former student-athlete on our men’s tennis team. Nick was named an Academic All-American, won two conference championships, served as team captain in 2000 and was inducted into the Quinnipiac Athletic Hall of Fame in 2014. Nick is a true Bobcat for life, meeting his wife, Michelle ’02, MPT ’04, also a Division I tennis player, during his time at QU. This history and the many connections with our university communities will be invaluable to Nick and to Quinnipiac.

Nick brings not only a love for our university, but also extensive alumni and development experience. After a brief period working in finance, Nick began his career in development and alumni affairs at Quinnipiac in 2006. Nick later worked at Sacred Heart and Fairfield universities, where he focused on athletic development, endowment growth and capital project fundraising — all in senior management roles. Nick returned to Quinnipiac in 2022 as associate vice president for development and alumni affairs before being named the interim vice president in October 2023.

Please join me in congratulating Nick as we look forward to partnering with him in his new role as vice president for development and alumni affairs.

Best regards,

Judy Olian
