QCard Information

The Quinnipiac University QCard is your passport to life at Quinnipiac. It serves as a form of identification for on-campus activities and sporting events. Students also use the QCard to access their meal plan, check material out of the library, gain access to their residence halls and swipe in and out of work.

Manage Your QCard

In addition to identification for on-campus activities and sporting events, students can use the QCard for QCash, a debit account that is separate from your meal plan. This feature allows you to make purchases at off-campus merchants, on-campus washer and dryers, the university bookstore and the on-campus post office. About 40 off-campus merchants accept QCash as a form of payment. These merchants are located near the university and many deliver to campus.

Meal points (a.k.a. dining dollars) are like using a debit card where points (dollars) are deducted when dining purchases are made in the Quinnipiac dining halls and Quinnipiac-sponsored food trucks. Fall meal points roll over to spring, but spring points do not roll over. At the end of the spring term, Chartwells usually offers bulk items (case of water, snacks, etc.) for sale.

QCash is separate from meal points. Students and their proxy can put money on a QCard as QCash, and students can use that as money at the bookstore, dining halls and certain local establishments.
