Women's Ice Hockey Team

The Quinnipiac women’s ice hockey team skated into the 2020-21 season with a pair of decisive victories over Sacred Heart University, securing Head Coach Cassandra Turner her 100th career victory.

The Bobcats opened the season on Sunday with a 6-1 victory — with six different members of the team tallying more than one point. The team outshout Sacred Heart 68-20, which is the most shots recorded in one game since the 2015-16 season.

But the Bobcats weren’t done.

The team went on to defeat Sacred Heart, 9-1, on Monday — with 11 Bobcats recording points in the victory. It was the most goals scored by the team since February 22, when the team decisively defeated Brown, 9-1.

Quinnipiac will next take the ice on January 9, when it kicks off a two game series at Colgate.
