Physician assistant students celebrate accomplishments at White Coat Ceremony

August 12, 2017

Fifty physician assistant graduates were awarded certificates and white coats.

Fifty physician assistant graduates were awarded certificates and white coats before taking the Physician Assistant Professional Oath on August 12 on our York Hill Campus.

The ceremony marks the end of the students’ classroom learning as they prepare to work with patients across America.

Ranked 5th in the country by U.S. News & World Report, our physician assistant program is focused on building a strong scientific foundation as well as leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills through hands-on clinical experience.

The graduates have also been deeply involved in the community.
More than 20 third-year Quinnipiac physician assistant students, for example, volunteered at the Connecticut Special Olympics this spring, providing medical support to the athletes competing in cycling, soccer, swimming and track.

It's no surprise that 100% of our Class of 2016 were either employed or in graduate school after earning their degrees.
