Students showcase clothing styles made of recycled materials

A group of Quinnipiac students showcased dresses they made from recycled items at the Carl Hansen Student Center Piazza during Earth Day.

The Quinnipiac students designed and constructed the dresses using items such as coffee filters, old newspapers, used denim, unwanted T-shirts, old ties, swatches, scarves, belts, curtains, ribbons, old ties, expired pasta and shredded paper.
