Representatives from more than 40 law schools from around the country will gather at the Quinnipiac University School of Law Center, 370 Bassett Road, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, for the first-ever Connecticut Law Fair.

The fair is being held to provide prospective law students with an opportunity to learn more about the law school admissions process as well as the academic programs, career services, financial aid and scholarships available at the participating law schools.

“Attending a law fair is a great way to jumpstart your law school search,” said Adam Barrett, associate vice president and dean of law admissions at Quinnipiac. “There’s nothing like talking firsthand with law school representatives to get a real sense of what’s out there and to get questions answered. We’re excited about the range of schools participating and proud to host this event.”

In addition, a pre-fair panel will be held from 10-11 a.m. Representatives from four law schools will break down what prospective students need to know about the law school application process, including LSATs, personal statements, resumes, and character and fitness disclosures.

The fair is free and open to the public, though pre-registration is requested at go.qu.edu/lawfair. Walk-ins are also welcome.
