University celebrates Engineers Week

The School of Computing and Engineering will host a series of events as part of National Engineers Week.

The events, which span from Monday, February 19 through Friday, February 24 are designed to celebrate the many ways engineers build the foundation on which our society is built.

Among the events planned:

Monday, February 20:
Girls Who Code, 5:30 and 6:45 p.m., TH-105

Tuesday, February 21:
Academic Exploration Day
Resume-Writing Workshop, 2 to 3 p.m., RWA-218
Alumni Panel, 3 p.m.

Wednesday, February 22:
Career Fair Prep, noon to 1 p.m., RWA-218

Thursday, February 23:
Engineering Living-Learning Community celebration and challenge, 6:30 p.m., the Commons Lounge

Friday, February 24:
Hard Hat Ceremony, 4 p.m., Mount Carmel Auditorium
