Anna Brady has been appointed as the new associate dean of the School of Education at Quinnipiac according to an announcement made by Anne Dichele, dean of the School of Education.

Brady, who had been serving as the School of Education’s research analyst and assessment coordinator, starts her new role on July 17.

“I am delighted that after an extensive national search, Anna Brady has accepted the position of associate dean,” Dichele said. “Anna's rich experience, research work, data analysis skills and leadership capabilities were instrumental in the decision of the search committee. I am looking forward to working with her as she takes on this new role.”

As associate dean, Brady will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including serving as the school’s accreditation coordinator and certification officer and as a liaison with the Connecticut State Department of Education.

Brady will also be responsible for the school’s annual reporting to the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation and Title II.

Brady will lead data review processes that lead to program improvement and participate in strategic planning with the School of Education leadership team. She also will oversee career preparation and career transition programming and work with the faculty to establish and support the school’s academic partnerships with the K-12 community.

"I'm incredibly honored to have been offered this opportunity to serve as associate dean and am so excited for the work ahead,” Brady said. “It has been a genuine pleasure supporting the School of Education and the broader Quinnipiac community through my work these past years. I look forward to engaging with and learning from current and future colleagues and will continue to do my best in support of students, faculty and staff within the School of Education and across the university as I take on this new and exciting role."

Brady has a Doctor of Philosophy from New York University, a Master of Science in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and French from the University of Wisconsin.
