Students, faculty and staff are invited to sample a variety of food that will be offered — and be among the first to use the new space. When at full capacity, On the Rocks will be able to accommodate approximately 150 members of the university community in a variety of seating — from bar stools and booths to farm tables. There will also be pool tables, shuffle boards, and even a stage for live performances.

On Saturday, February 29 from 5 to 11 p.m., Quinnipiac students 21 years and older with a valid Q card will be invited to the first special event held at On the Rocks. They can enjoy a variety of beers, wine, seltzers and ciders while watching the men’s ice hockey team take on ECAC Hockey arch-rival Yale. Students under 21 may take part in a watch party in the Piazza on the Mount Carmel Campus.
