With the extra hour of light as a result of daylight saving time, Bobcats can seize the opportunity to enhance their productivity. It's a prime moment for Bobcat Nation to embrace the transition into spring and enjoy in the warm weather.

Sleeping Giant State Park: Experience the beautiful spring views of greenery and flowers while exploring more than 30 miles of trails, just across the street from the Mount Carmel Campus. Take a leisurely hike along the many scenic trails and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature.

Cheer on Bobcats to victory: With 21 Division I teams to choose from, there's a good chance there's a home game in action. Root on your favorite Bobcat team to victory at one of the university's many outdoor stadiums, fields and courts throughout the spring.

Pick apples, peaches, pumpkins or berries: Visit one of the numerous orchards and farms in the area. The most difficult decision may be what to pick.

Explore some of the best pizza in the world: Indulge yourself in authentic New Haven-style pizza by visiting the Little Italy area of New Haven. Bring a group of friends to experience the classic Italian flavors as you dine in the sunshine.

Take a stroll on the beach in West Haven: On a warm sunny day, take a short drive to the shoreline. Bradley Point Park in West Haven offers a walking trail and some delicious seafood within the surrounding area. Don't forget your beach umbrella!
