A crowd of people at auction

The Quinnipiac University Public Interest Law Project has raised $15,000 at its annual auction this semester to provide our students with the financial support necessary to accept unpaid internships at vital nonprofit agencies across the United States, helping women, men and children who face a variety of legal issues and have limited or no access to legal assistance.

PILP grants have allowed our students to work at places including the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities; New Haven Legal Assistance; United Nations; Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services; Federal Defender Program; and the Connecticut Women’s Education and Legal Fund.

Individuals interested in contributing may still donate to the crowdsourcing campaign: go.qu.edu/pilp2020
