Women’s tennis coach leads faculty and staff pickleball learning session

Quinnipiac faculty come together as a group to learn the basics of pickleball at the gym.

Staff and faculty had the opportunity to learn about one of the fastest growing sports in the country last week — as part of an HR initiative.

Faculty and staff gathered on September 13, to learn the basics of pickleball.

Paula Miller, director of tennis and head women's tennis coach, led the 16 participants in a 90-minute session dedicated to learning the rules, techniques and scoring of the game.

The event was designed to cater to both beginners and seasoned athletes and to bring Quinnipiac employees together with a unique experience.
