Amplify your voice and unleash a roar for meaningful change. Students are encouraged to join one of the university's student advisory boards, dining services advisory boards or peer listening groups to make a positive impact on the Quinnipiac community.

The first-year advisory board meets every Sunday at 7 p.m., and the upper-class advisory board meets every other Sunday at 8 p.m. Meeting locations vary, so make sure to reach out to your RA or contact Chief Experience Officer Thomas Ellett via email for details.

"By giving students a voice and some level of ownership in resolution provides a learning experience and an opportunity to positively impact the experience students have at Quinnipiac," Ellett said.

In addition, students can join the dining services advisory board to offer insights and feedback on the dining program. Meetings take place every other Tuesday at 5 p.m. on the second floor of the Carl Hansen Student Center adjacent to Starbucks.

“The dining services advisory board has been instrumental in so many ways. From direct issues on menus, services and programmatic concerns,” said Ellet.

"They assisted in hour-of-operation changes, the creation of the menu makers, making Quinnipiac the first school in the country where students select the dinner menus at Café Q each night,” he adds.

Additionally, peer listening groups are a new initiative that will be offered this spring for students led by students. This unique opportunity involves training peer leaders to facilitate discussions about campus and global events.
