At Quinnipiac, knowledge knows no borders, and everyone at the university benefits from the presence of talented international students, faculty, and staff. Our international community helps us reach our goal of fostering conversation, exposure, and engagement with all people, thoughts, and ideas — from all corners of the world. We recognize that these individuals play a powerful role in shaping our community, and we value them deeply.
In the Fall 2020 semester, Quinnipiac University will be teaching in our Q-Flex model with delivery of both in-classroom and virtual education. As a result, we do not anticipate this guidance will have a negative impact on our international students. However, it could potentially force many international students enrolled at universities across the U.S. to return to their home countries if they are unable to find the appropriate balance of in-person and remote classes.
In this uncertain moment, we are committed to providing our international students the opportunity to begin and complete their education at Quinnipiac, where our mission is to create a diverse and inclusive community where every member is acknowledged, respected and has the necessary resources to thrive, both individually and together. We will also work with any affected students to see if Quinnipiac can support their ability to continue their studies in the United States as they had initially planned.
We stand firm in our commitment to support our international community.
