Breaking Stigma Speaker Series: Shavana Clarke

SGA's Mental Health Expansion committee is dedicated in improving mental health services and awareness. Stigma is a huge reason why folks do not seek mental health services. In order to break these barriers, SGA invites Shavana Clarke, who was the first openly queer black woman to win Miss Connecticut who is a strong mental health advocate. She will be speaking on her lived experiences, and why seeking help is important.
