Quinnipiac Athletics is synonymous with success. Our student-athletes compete in 21 Division I programs and earn accolades both on and off the court, ice and field. Our men's ice hockey team brought home their first national title this year; our women's ice hockey team won its inaugural women's Frozen Fenway event this season in Boston; our fall and spring sports have enjoyed a 'title wave' of conference championship wins this year — including men's and women's tennis, women's and men's soccer, and women's volleyball. Our women's rugby team has brought home three back-to-back-to-back national titles, and many of our teams regularly find success in post-season action.
Between the impressive performances of our men's ice hockey team bringing home their first national title and multiple appearances in the Frozen Four, our three-time national champion women’s rugby team, our women’s basketball team’s trip to the Sweet 16 — not to mention multiple conference titles for many of our teams — it’s never been a better time to be a member of #BobcatNation.
NCAA Division I athletics is an integral part of the Quinnipiac community, bringing together students, alumni and fans around the world. Student-athletes top their conferences in terms of GPA and wins on the court, ice and field — and give #BobcatNation something to be proud of.
It's also never been easier to keep up with Quinnipiac Bobcat athletics. All of our men's and women's basketball and ice hockey home games are broadcast on ESPN3 or ESPN+, and all tickets to home games are free for current students.
Overall grade point average for Quinnipiac Division I student athletes in Spring 2023.
We earned an impressive average Graduation Success Rate (GSR) of 93%, according to the most recent Division I data released by the NCAA (November 2022).
Whether it's women's rugby or men's soccer, our student-athletes play at the top of their game in their respective conferences.
