With decades of experience as a distinguished journalist, scholar, professor and dean, Dr. Marie Hardin began her tenure as Quinnipiac's 10th president in July 2025.
In addition to the president, the mission, strategy and operations of Quinnipiac University are led by the president’s leadership council, academic deans and the Board of Trustees.

From pushing a mop to walking the same hospital halls as a resident physician, Dr. Shay Taylor-Allen MHS '20 recently returned to Quinnipiac to share the story of her remarkable journey from janitor to doctor, which made national headlines earlier this year. Taylor-Allen spoke candidly with first-year Bobcats about overcoming obstacles and how her Quinnipiac experience gave her the knowledge and confidence to succeed. At Quinnipiac, she earned a master’s of health science in biomedical sciences.
