Spiritual and Religious Life

At Quinnipiac, the Office of Religious Life, the Center for Religion and the Peter C. Hereld House for Jewish Life provide a welcoming space for students, faculty and staff to find purpose and meaning in their lives. Through conversation, service and respect, the world’s religious traditions continue to bring people together.

Overview

As part of Quinnipiac’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, global engagement is more than  a mission. It is essential to how we learn about the world around us — and each other. The Office of Religious Life, the Center for Religion and the Peter C. Hereld House for Jewish Life offer many opportunities to connect with people, explore different cultures and look at issues from a new perspective.

We’ve held an Islamic poetry slam, packed sandwiches for those with food insecurity and partnered with Q-Thon, Quinnipiac’s year-round fundraiser for the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center that culminates with a 10-hour dance marathon. Best of all, our programs and events are often organized and run by students. There are exciting opportunities for leadership, growth and a broader awareness of our fellow human beings.
