The Quinnipiac shuttle system gives students access to shopping, food, entertainment, Amtrak and Metro-North Railroad — at no additional cost.
The fixed schedule provides safe, convenient and reliable transportation between our campuses and surrounding community.
The university’s fleet of shuttles brings students to area shopping and entertainment destinations, restaurants, and transportation hubs — including Metro-North and Amtrak railroads.

The university shuttle system runs ADA-compliant vehicles on each loop. We also offer additional as-needed assistance during the construction of the South Quad project on the Mount Carmel Campus. Students in need of compliant shuttles (typically because of disability or injury) should contact the Office of Student Accessibility to make arrangements.

November 5 Election Day Voting Shuttle
Take the Shuttle to Vote in Hamden
Quinnipiac is providing a shuttle service on Election Day, November 5, to all students registered to vote at the West Woods Elementary School polling location. The shuttle will run for a block of time, based on demand.
The York Hill / Mount Carmel Loop connects students directly to and from York Hill Campus and Mount Carmel Campus, with a stop at the nearby Theatre Arts Center.
The Express shuttle connects the York Hill Campus and Mount Carmel Campus (it does not stop at the Theatre Arts Center).
Early in the morning, two shuttles run continually and arrive at each campus approximately every 10 to 15 minutes. During the peak hours of the day, four shuttles service this loop with arrival times approximately every 5 to 10 minutes.

Bobcat Transit Shuttle Loop
Weekdays, 6 a.m. - 1 a.m.
On Peak: 7 a.m. - 11 p.m., every 10-15 minutes
Off Peak: 6 a.m. - 7 a.m., and 11 p.m. - 1 a.m., every 20-30 minutes
Weekends, 8 a.m. - 1 a.m.

The Bobcat Transit shuttle loop connects the Mount Carmel and York Hill campuses with additional smaller stops along the way. It runs 7 days per week.

Westwoods Parking Lot Loop
Monday through Friday 7 a.m. - 8 p.m., every 5-10 minutes
The Westwoods Parking Lot is open to every Quinnipiac-registered vehicle. Park your car securely in the Westwoods Parking Lot, which is 0.6 miles from the Mount Carmel Campus, then hop on the shuttle for an easy ride to campus.
The North Haven Campus shuttle route connects students from the Mount Carmel and York Hill campuses and the Whitney Village apartments to the North Haven Campus.

The shuttle runs to North Haven and Hamden shopping centers on Wednesday and Friday evenings and on weekends according to the schedule below.
The essentials you need are never far away. Our Shopping and Restaurant shuttle route connects students with shopping districts in both Hamden and North Haven, featuring grocery, clothing, box-store and craft stores, as well as a host of nationally known and local restaurants.

The shuttle is available on weekends during the Fall semester, except during Thanksgiving Break.
The Union Station/Downtown New Haven shuttle route connects students with the heart of New Haven, featured shopping, dining, music and theater venues, cultural centers, museums and more. Union Station is a hub for train service by Amtrak, Metro-North Railroad and Shore Line East, so students can easily hop on to get places like New York City for a day trip, or Bridgeport where they can connect with the Port Jefferson Ferry.

University Breaks - Shuttle to Union Station in New Haven, and College Break Bus Service
University Shuttle to Union Station in New Haven
This shuttle connects students to Union Station in New Haven during university breaks to assist students traveling home by train or bus. Train service from Union Station is provided by Amtrak, Metro-North Railroad and Shore Line East. The station will also be used by the New Haven-Hartford-Springfield line once it is complete. The station also is a hub for many private coach and bus services.
Students can take a Metro-North train from New Haven to Bridgeport to get to the Bridgeport/Port Jefferson Ferry, which is approximately a 5-minute, outdoor walk from the train station in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Beginning of holiday break: Pick-up from Mount Carmel and York Hill campuses to Union Station
End of holiday break: Pick-up from Union Station back to Mount Carmel and York Hill campuses
Although College Break Bus operates independently from Quinnipiac, it will provide pick-up and drop-off service directly in the North Lot at the RecWell Center on campus.
Initially, three routes will be available:
Green Route: White Plains, NY; Nanuet, NY; Clifton, NJ; Iselin, NJ; Hamilton, NJ
Pink Route: Stamford, CT; Roslyn Heights, NY; Melville, NY
Orange Route: Hartford, CT; Worcester area (Millbury), MA; Boston, MA
The College Break Bus is a students-only service, offering amenities such as free Wi-Fi, charging outlets, live bus tracking, onboard restrooms and professional friendly drivers.
To keep you on time, Valet Park of America, which services the shuttle system at Quinnipiac, maintains up-to-date shuttle information on its app, Passio GO. Simply download the app on your smartphone, and then search “Quinnipiac” in the app.
