Albert Schweitzer Institute

The Albert Schweitzer Institute conducts programs that link education, ethics and voluntarism for the sake of creating a more peaceful and sustainable world. A dynamic presence at Quinnipiac University, the institute has drawn notable humanitarians both to campus and to its board, and gives students of all majors the chance to engage with local challenges and the broader international community.

Alternative Investments Institute

School of Business

Alternative Investments Institute educates students of all business disciplines about nontraditional investments and their relevance to our economy, and provides faculty with the means necessary to keep curricula current.

Bioanthropology Research Institute

The Bioanthropology Research Institute uses a variety of paleoimaging tools and techniques to conduct research on mummified humans and animals and ancient artifacts without destruction.

Center for Health Law and Policy

The mission of the Center for Health Law and Policy is to educate Quinnipiac students about the extraordinarily complex set of state and federal laws associated with the field of health law and all of its interrelated areas. Quinnipiac’s health care law program was ranked 54th nationwide by U.S. News & World Report in its 2020 edition.

Center for Interprofessional Healthcare Education

The Center for Interprofessional Healthcare Education uses a collaborative approach that helps develop health care professionals who are capable of providing evidence-based, coordinated and patient-centered health care. The center enables faculty, students and community partners to learn together, identify effective and efficient delivery options and engage in team practice that meets the challenges of 21st-century health care.

Center on Dispute Resolution

Centers and Institutes

The Center on Dispute Resolution at Quinnipiac Law focuses on integrating the theory and practice of dispute resolution. Since 1998, the center has created opportunities for both dispute resolution professionals and law students to engage in dialogue and attend training to develop knowledge and skills in this growing field. Furthermore, Quinnipiac’s Dispute Resolution program was ranked 15th in the nation by U.S. News & World Report in its 2023 Best Graduate School rankings.

Ireland’s Great Hunger Institute

Ireland’s Great Hunger Institute fosters a deeper understanding of the Great Hunger of Ireland and its causes and consequences through a strategic program of lectures, conferences, course offerings and publications.

National Institute for Community Health Education

Centers and Institutes

The National Institute for Community Health Education (NICHE) provides the public with balanced, in-depth discussion on health care issues. NICHE draws on the expertise of Connecticut hospitals, corporations, and health maintenance organizations to provide this information and draw attention to the state’s preeminence in health care delivery, development, and finance. NICHE also develops and publishes surveys on health care issues by the Quinnipiac University Poll.
