Global Public Health Programs - Opthalmology Interest Group Meeting

Dr. James Clarke and Dr. Seth Wanye are Ghanaian ophthalmologists who have created unique infrastructures in connection with Unite For Sight and the Cure Blindness Project (formerly Himalayan Cataract Project) to bring eyecare to people living in remote areas in Ghana. They have expertise in providing care in low resource settings and in developing innovative ways to help patients to overcome barriers to care in Ghana. They are both high volume small incision cataract surgeons and Dr. Wanye was instrumental in eradicating trachoma from Ghana.
