This event is entitled, "Office of Inclusive Excellence Community Conversation Series: Lunch & Learn: Black Mental Health & Restorative Practices". The Black experience has been shaped by both struggle and strength, making mental health awareness and restorative practices essential. This discussion will explore the unique challenges Black communities face in accessing mental health resources while highlighting culturally affirming ways to foster healing, resilience, and holistic well-being. At Quinnipiac, our mission is to create an inclusive community where every member is acknowledged, respected and has the necessary resources to thrive, both individually and together. The Office of Inclusive Excellence works to co-create a globally engaged, culturally rich and highly collaborative campus through our programmatic efforts, first-year transitional and leadership programs, identity and cultural organizations, and training opportunities.
