Dr. Ira Helfand, past president of International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (Nobel Peace Prize 1985) and a member of the steering committee for the International Campaign Against Nuclear Weapons (Nobel Peace Prize 2017) will discuss the threat to human survival posed by nuclear weapons, and what we can do about it. Presentation will be followed by an organizing conversation for a QU chapter of Students for Nuclear Disarmament.
