Born in Spain and based in Los Angeles, Andrés has directed multiple successful short films that have played in more than 200 film festivals around the globe including Cannes, Sitges, Cleveland and South by Southwest, winning more than 40 international awards including the DGA for best Latin short.

Andrés is the writer of LA Panda indie thriller THE CHAIN, starring Ray Wise and winner of Best Screenplay at the Alicante Film Festival; and of DANGER IN THE SPOTLIGHT for MarVista Entertainment. He has also written the Nicholl Fellowship Semifinalist CHRISTMAS KILLS, the dark comedy MR. BEAR (based on his successful short film) and the thriller THE ECHOES.

He is also the producer of the upcoming AMERICAN CARNAGE, a horror film about the Latin immigration in the US directed by Diego Hallivis (CURVATURE), and THE DEVIL BELOW, directed by Bradley Parker (CHERNOBYL DIARIES).

Andres also produces the hit podcast BAD FRIENDS, staring comedians Bobby Lee and Andrew Santino.

As a director, Andrés is preparing JABBERWOCKY, a Spanish suspense thriller set during the pandemic with Spanish star Maggie Civantos (CABLE GIRLS, LOCKED UP).

Andrés has a BA in Mass Media Communication from Universidad Complutense of Madrid and an MFA in film from Columbia University.
