Dr. Douglas S. Goodman joined Quinnipiac University in 2018 and strives to make physics engaging, inclusive, and accessible for all students. He teaches courses ranging from algebra- and calculus-based introductory physics to Modern Physics, emphasizing hands-on learning in both lecture and laboratory settings. His research, in the fields of experimental Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics as well as Physics Education, involves close collaboration and mentorship with students and colleagues, fostering a vibrant learning and research community.
