Dr. Erica Mumm came to Quinnipiac University in 2017 having completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Regis College, Weston, MA. As a Jonas Veterans Healthcare Scholar and having a passion for holistic nursing, Dr. Mumm knew that teaching at QU was a perfect fit as QU is ranked as a 'Top 10 Military University' and its School of Nursing had an accomplished holistic focused foundation, having obtained Holistic Endorsement. Dr. Mumm teaches in both the gradute and undergraduate programs at Quinnipiac. Her teaching spans from a First Year Seminar centered on kindness and caring, to Community and Poplulation-Based Health, to Integrative and Holistic Healing. She serves as a School of Nursing Faculty Representative to the Faculty Senate, and maintains active in community-based nursing. Students find her classes to be creative, full of passion, and supportive. Dr. Mumm teaches nursing content in both the online classroom and on-ground at the North Haven campus as well as in First Year Seminar on the Mt. Carmel Campus. She additionally serves as the Co-director for Pre-professional Nursing, with a focus on relationship building and community connection with first and second year students.
