Dr. Guido Lang is an academic entrepreneur with over 25 years experience in analytics and applied AI across industry, startups, and academia. He is Department Chair and Professor of Business Analytics & Information Systems at Quinnipiac University. His current research examines how individuals and organizations develop AI and analytics capabilities. He has authored or co-authored more than 70 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference presentations and received several research awards. Dr. Lang has founded multiple technology startups and regularly provides advice on technical product management. Originally from Düsseldorf, Germany, he earned a BS in Management from California State University, Long Beach, an MS in Information Systems from the University of Bern, Switzerland, and a PhD in Information Systems from Baruch College, City University of New York.
