Guido Lang
Professor of Business Analytics and Information Systems
Dr. Guido Lang is an academic entrepreneur. He has over 20 years of experience developing and managing digital products in several B2B verticals, most recently as Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Medaflo, a medical inventory and vendor management platform. As Professor of Business Analytics & Information Systems at Quinnipiac University, Dr. Lang founded the university's App Development Lab and served as a founding board member of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Dr. Lang's research aims to close the digital skills gap by studying what and how digital skills should be taught in higher education. His research has won numerous awards and has been published in dozens of peer-reviewed articles that appeared in leading scientific journals such as International Journal of Human Resource Management, Journal of Computer Information Systems, Journal of Information Systems Education, and Journal of Research on Technology in Education. Dr. Lang holds an M.S. in Information Systems from University of Bern (Switzerland) and a Ph.D. in Information Systems from Baruch College, City University of New York.
