With a Ph.D. in Public Health from the School of Public Health & Health Sciences at UMass Amherst, her research focuses on Social Network Analysis. Her academic credentials include an MBA in Healthcare Management from Quinnipiac University, an MS in Food Science from the University of Minnesota, and a BS (Honors) in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Ghana.
Ivy's professional experience spans multiple sectors. For over a decade, she was a research scientist at Ghana's Food Research Institute, where she conducted community nutrition assessments and led technology transfer initiatives.
