Quinnipiac University
Dr. Ryack is a Professor of Accounting at Quinnipiac University. He earned a PhD in business administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, an MS in accounting from Bentley University, and a BS in finance from the University of Connecticut.

Prior to joining Quinnipiac in the fall of 2012, Dr. Ryack held faculty positions at Xavier University, Northern Kentucky University, Eastern Connecticut State University, the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Bentley University. Before entering academia, Dr. Ryack worked in both accounting and finance. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Massachusetts and a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®).

Dr. Ryack teaches courses in personal financial advising, retirement planning, intermediate accounting, and introductory financial accounting at Quinnipiac. He has been recognized for his teaching and impact on students at Quinnipiac University and at several other universities. Dr. Ryack engages in behavioral based research that focuses on judgment and decision making in financial settings, as well as pedagogical research. His research has been published in Advances in Accounting Education Teaching and Curriculum Innovations, Business Education Innovation Journal, Financial Services Review, Issues in Accounting Education, Journal of Financial Planning, Personality and Individual Differences, and The Journal of Behavioral Finance.
