Chair of Business Analytics and Information Systems

Dr. Kiku Jones, Professor and Chair of Business Analytics & Information Systems, is focused on building empowered student leaders equipped both professionally and personally. She promotes diversity and inclusion in the classroom and challenges her students to become leaders on campus and in the community. Her primary areas of teaching include agile methodologies and data analysis.

Dr. Jones is passionate about building a strong community ready to use their IT skills and knowledge for good. She is also passionate about helping to effect systemic change in the workforce to help in the advancement of women. She is particularly interested in the challenges women of color encounter.

Prior to working at Quinnipiac, she was a Vice President at Feed The Children. Dr. Jones has extensive experience working and consulting in various aspects of non-profit organizations. She enjoys taking students on Global Solidarity Program trips to Guatemala. Dr. Jones has been helping students engage with this program since 2016. She is a recipient of the Quinnipiac University’s Center for Excellence in Teaching Award, Quinnipiac University CIS Society’s Professor of the Year (three times), and The University of Tulsa’s Mayo Excellence in Teaching Award.
