Laura E. Willis Calo, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Health and Strategic Communication and the Director of M.S. in Public Relations at Quinnipiac University. She served as the faculty advisor for Quinnipiac's chapter of Lambda Pi Eta (Communications Honors Society) from January 2016-June 2021 and was a member of the National Faculty Advisory Board for Lambda Pi Eta from 2018-2020.

Dr. Willis Calo’s research focuses on strategic health communication and pedagogy. Her research can be found in journals such as Health Communication, Communication Research, and Journal of Public Relations Education.

Dr. Willis has over 10 years of teaching experience. She received her undergraduate degree, Master's degree, and Ph.D. in Communication from the Ohio State University.
