Dr. Sardi's main research interests include feminist theory and methodology, gender and sexualities, deviance and embodiment, human rights, the ethics of genital cutting, and the scholarship of teaching and learning. She has co-authored a number of articles discussing the ethics of routinized penile circumcision performed on infants and the ways in which the procedure is maintained and upheld in the United States. Dr. Sardi is currently researching the long-term outcomes of penile circumcision on adults.
