Assistant Professor of Medical Sciences

Miklos Fogarasi is Assistant Professor of Medical Sciences at the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. SInce his arrival he is involved in creating and teaching cancer related events. His Cancer Survivorship selective offers a multi-professional small-group learning experience. He is block director for the Y2 Gastrointestinal block and he serves both as a capstone mentor and a career advisor.

Dr. Fogarasi received his MD degree "summa cum laude" from Semmelweis University SOM in Budapest, Hungary. He completed residency training at UMass-Memorial Campus and Hem/Onc fellowship at Yale University. Following a fifteen-year career in hematology-oncology he is now a full-time medical educator with interest in oncology, cancer survivorship, active learning strategies and the effects of learning climate.
