Paul LoCasto is Professor and Chair of the Department of Psychology. His formal training is in psycholinguistics. He received his B.A in psychology as well as his M.A. and Ph.D. in cognitive psychology from Binghamton University. He did a NSRA post-doctoral fellowship studying the functional neuroimaging of language in the neurology department at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine. His research interests include questions of language, decision making, and the intersection of western and eastern psychology.
