Dr. Richard McCarthy is a Professor of Computer Information Systems. His teaching area is primarily within the Master of Science in Business Analytics, focusing on data management, predictive analytics and the capstone project course.
Dr. McCarthy is the author of over 60 research journal articels and cases. He is the co-author of the textbook Applying Predictive Analytics: Finding Value in Data, and had contributed to 8 other textbooks. In 2019, he waas name Computer Educator of the Year by the International Organization for Computer Information Systems.
