Rosetta D. Washington, MSW, LCSW, serves as a Field Education Coordinator in the Master of Social Work (MSW) Program. In this role, she collaborates closely with field leadership to coordinate practicum placements, support agency partnerships, and ensure meaningful experiential learning that integrates academic study with professional practice. Her work supports the development of competent, ethical, and culturally responsive social work professionals.
With more than a decade of experience in nonprofit, government, and human services settings, Ms. Washington has developed expertise in program development, executive leadership, and clinical service delivery. Her professional background includes roles within the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (NY) and Connecticut's Departments of Children and Families, Labor, and Correction, where she advanced initiatives promoting equity, rehabilitation, and community well-being.
As a clinical therapist and mental health consultant, Ms. Washington contributes to breast cancer research focused on women of color, addressing health disparities and promoting equitable access to care. Her approach integrates advocacy, evidence-based practice, and holistic wellness to empower individuals and communities.
