Scott DeVito is an Associate Professor of Law at Quinnipiac University School of Law, where he teaches Business Organizations, Commercial Law, Contracts, and Evidence. He is passionate about helping students connect complex legal doctrines to real-world practice, blending analytical precision with a focus on professional identity and ethical judgment.

Before joining Quinnipiac, Professor DeVito was a founding faculty member and tenured professor at Jacksonville University College of Law, where he played a leading role in shaping the school's academic programs and assessment initiatives. He also previously served as dean of Florida Coastal School of Law, guiding the institution through successful reaccreditation and implementing innovative strategies that improved bar passage rates and student outcomes. His scholarship explores the intersection of law, evidence, and artificial intelligence, as well as empirical studies on bias and fairness in legal education.

Professor DeVito's career reflects a deep commitment to educational innovation and student success. He has received multiple grants for immersive learning and pedagogy and is a frequent speaker at national conferences on bar passage, diversity, and inclusive teaching.
