Sheree Piperidis is a clinical coordinator who was last promoted to associate professor at the end of 2017. She seeks promotion to full professor. In addition, she is the co-chair of admissions. She teaches py512 psychosocial issues in healthcare in the fall, PY608 professionalism lab, co-coordinates the clinical year PY650 medical writing course, PY502 physical diagnosis lab, as well as PY611-619 clinical rotations.

She has a passion for medical writing and has published a book chapter, has been published in the Journal of American Academy of Physician Assistants (JAAPA), writes annually, and presents with her students at physician assistant (PA) state and national conferences to promote publications and professional leadership.

She has a passion for service and sits on many committees at the university, school of health science, department, and professional level. She is dedicated to committees such as the University Education Committee since 2017. She holds a leadership role as the chair of membership for the Connecticut Academy of Physician Assistants (ConnAPA), has been on the board and on the conference planning committee for more than 6 years.

Awards include her induction into the North Branford Basketball Hall of Fame, ConnAPA initiative award, and the Pi Alpha Award.
