Dr. Shizhen (Jasper) Jia is an Assistant Professor of Business Analytics and Information Systems at Quinnipiac University's School of Business. He teaches courses in applied artificial intelligence, statistical foundations, and data analytics, where he helps students build confidence in using AI and data to make better business decisions.

Dr. Jia is passionate about creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment that connects classroom concepts with real-world practice. He encourages students to explore how technology and analytics can be used responsibly to solve meaningful problems, blending experiential learning, collaboration, and creativity into his teaching.

His research focuses on human–AI collaboration and digital ethics, with a special interest in how innovations shape decision-making and user behavior. Before joining Quinnipiac, Dr. Jia worked as a software development engineer, where he led digital projects for major airports.
