Stefania Maria Agliano

Stefania M. Agliano, EdD, MSW, LMSW, serves as the Associate Director of Field Education for the Online Master of Social Work (MSW) Program. She provides leadership in developing trauma-informed and equity-centered field models, coordinating national partnerships, and mentoring field coordinators to ensure consistency and excellence across placements. Her work emphasizes collaboration, student readiness for licensure, and alignment with CSWE accreditation standards.

With more than thirty years of experience in child welfare, juvenile justice, and professional training, Dr. Agliano's expertise includes anti-trafficking, gender-based violence prevention, and violence reduction with justice-involved populations. She is dedicated to fostering accountability, healing, and systemic reform through restorative and trauma-responsive approaches while working to improve outcomes within child- and family-involved systems.

As co-founder of a national training and consultation organization, Dr. Agliano designs and facilitates programs that advance racial equity, trauma-informed care, and prevention education across human service systems. Her work reflects a deep commitment to equity, empowerment, and compassionate practice.
