Tyler J. Wahl is an accomplished healthcare professional specializing in cardiovascular perfusion, medical education, and research. He currently serves as the Director of the Cardiovascular Perfusion Program and Clinical Assistant Professor of Biomedical Sciences at Quinnipiac University. In this role, Tyler leads program administration, curriculum development, and ensures compliance with accreditation standards while fostering a collaborative learning environment. Concurrently, he is the Senior Pediatric Lead Perfusionist at Yale New Haven Hospital, where he manages the Pediatric Cardiovascular Perfusion Department, develops innovative protocols, and leads multi-disciplinary educational initiatives.

He also serves as a Contract Research Perfusionist, contributing to groundbreaking research on cardiopulmonary bypass using swine models and facilitating ex-vivo organ perfusion studies through the Yale School of Medicine.
He holds a Master of Health Science in Cardiovascular Perfusion from Quinnipiac University and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. As a Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) with both Connecticut State Licensure and National ABCP certification, Tyler remains committed to advancing the field through innovation, education, and collaborative practice while mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals.
